What is Somatic Experiencing?
Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Peter A. Levine for resolving trauma and other stress-related disorders. It focuses on the body's natural ability to heal from traumatic experiences by releasing stored stress and tension. Unlike traditional talk therapies, SE emphasizes the role of the body in processing and healing from trauma.

Discharge of Energy:
Trauma can cause a build-up of survival energy in the body. SE aims to safely release this energy in a slow and mindful way.
Restoring Balance:
It seeks to restore the natural balance of the autonomic nervous system, helping individuals feel more regulated and at ease.
Empowerment:
By working through trauma and stress in a slow and gradual manner, SE helps individuals regain a sense of empowerment and resilience.

With over 20 years of experience, I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner®, Brennan Healing Science Practitioner®, professional singer/songwriter, and intuitive energy healer. I specialize in somatic work, somatic voice work, embodiment support, creativity exploration, and trauma resolution, including childhood sexual abuse and pre/perinatal trauma. My journey began at nineteen with a profound spiritual awakening on the Hopi Indian reservation, leading me to a path of healing and personal transformation. This inner work allowed me to overcome past trauma and embrace my purpose as a healer and artist. I am dedicated to helping others access their bodies and voices, enabling them to heal and find their true selves.
